We had our annual Halloween party with pumpkin bread bowls and soup, and this year Karin made doughnuts from scratch! They were delicious! Blake was a skeleton, Marinne was The Corpse Bride, and James was a Fireman. Poor baby Matthew did a face plant on our porch, and Marinne had a meltdown when she lost her spider ring, but other than that, things went swimmingly. Hey, we felt lucky that no one barfed this year! (Last year Blake threw up all over the stairs while our guests ate their soup)! Ray made a commemorative jack-o-lantern, as you can see in the picture.

Looks like you had some fun. I remember coming to your house one year with Heather and her family. I hope we can do it again when she moves back. I'm being optimistic!
Wow, im quite impressed with the costumes. Good job! And Ray, good job carving the bulimic pumpkin.
We stole your idea for the soup party, but it wasn't nearly as cool because we didn't have pumpkin bread bowls. Richard made your mom's rolls and died them orange and black...too bad it turned out a disgusting shade of greenish-grayish-purple.
Mar-nay's costume turned out really cute!
Such cute kids! Looks like a great time. That is too funny about the pumpkin.
Marinne's costume turned out so dang cute!! The pumpkin's cute as well - along with the pumpkin bread bowls. Too bad I don't like bread!!
Your kids look so fabulous! What a gorgeous family. So excited we can blog each other. Happy Thanksgiving
