Congratulations, Blake!!! Blake earned his green belt with a white stripe at his karate testing. I especially like karate because the kids are supposed to do "homework" such as taking out the garbage and making their beds. They also recite a karate pledge which states, "I will respect my parents". Yeah!

CONGRATS Blake - that's awesome!! I'm just so glad they were actually their this time when you showed up for it. heehee I love how the martial arts are all about respect & work ethics. I need to take karate - I could learn a lot from it myself!

The stripe is a special addition to the plain belt because it means he knew his "kata".

That's awesome. I'm glad it's on to the green belt now... w/ the yellow belt and the blond hair & everything, those pictures look a bit too much like Dutch from the Cobra Kai in The Karate Kid... I was getting scared to come over & have him kick me in the shins or something.
Oh Bitter Larry, I love the Karate Kid! Sweep the leg, sweep the leg. I almost convinced Grace to go as a shower this Halloween, but she was a bubble bath instead. Good going Blake. He's so cute.

I remember the days of "piderman" and "you smell like poop". Now he's all grown up!
I like how they teach the kids about respect!!!! Don't feel bad about the tooth fairy...it happens to us all! The questions...good luck!
