We went back-to-school shopping and got some great deals! ($272 worth for only$106). I found a $30 shirt for Marinne and paid only $1.97! I love finding a good deal! I am constantly telling Ray how much money I SAVE him, and reminding him what a thrifty wife I am. I can't claim all the credit, because I was raised by the Queen of Bargain Shopping, and trained to go straight to the clearance racks to find the sales. I have a hard time paying full price for anything. Maybe we're nerds, but when I was growing up, my mom and I would add up all of the original prices on things we bought, and figure out how much money we had saved. Maybe I'm just a cheap-skate, but even when I'm really rich... I'll be looking for those red tags!

Coug! Yeah for you! I also just had a great shopping experience. $137, with a savigs of $205!!! I brought home 7 outfits (including jeans, not just shorts), 2 dvd's 1 set of markers, 1 bday present, and 3 pairs of shoes. Yea! Such a kindred spirit!
I saved today as well. Spent $50 at Van's & got 4 pairs of shoes. Saved about $70. I spent $18 at Bath 'n' Body on buying 6 of my beloved foot cream & saved $72! They were $3 compared to the norm of $15. WOOHOO!!
What is this "$" thing you are talking about?
AWESOME! We got some great deals at Kohl's this year.
Way to Go. I love finding good deals as well. We start at the clearance rack and work our way out. Now that my kids are getting bigger they are becoming a bit more picky. I am glad they get the more for your money concept and at least look for sales on their favorite brands of clothes.
booyah it is in all of our blood now!
Yeah for sales. I will never get the cheap skate out of me. I did all of our school shopping on line and it was awesome. We never left home and I got free shipping and everything on clearance. I got about 6 complete outfits and shoes for three kids for only $230. Not too bad. I highly recommend it.
