WARNING: contents may be smaller than they appear on box!

A few Mondays ago, I decided to pick up a quick F.H.E. treat from the grocery store. These Reeses peanut butter bars looked tasty and easy, so I grabbed them and brought them home. Upon looking closer at the box, I saw the words "Convenient Pan Inside!". Pan inside where? Surely there isn't a pan inside this tiny box! Well, as you can see in the picture, sure enough there is a miniscule pan in the box. I just had to share all of this because it was so comical to me how little dessert this actually made. This is not enough for an entire family! I laughed the whole time I was making it because I felt like I was making an easy bake oven recipe with itty bitty pouches of ingredients. The bars on the box are misleading! Don't be fooled! So, just for fun I looked at the number of servings Betty Crocker thinks you should get out of this... 15! Can you see any way to get 15 bars out of this pan? This is more like a personal pan Reeses bar, if you ask me, which they obviously didn't. I do realize I can eat more than the average Joe, but this was a cruel joke!

That's pretty funny. I bought a cheese cake yesterday and accidentally ate the entire thing... oops! I think the picture on the box was depicting the entire pan, not just one bar.

That was cruel! Did you go back and buy another one? Was it good though?

um, not to be a naysayer, but next time you are going to comment on the size of something, like the small size of the pan, you should use a picture that has not cut said object in half. Also, you may want to put in an object of recognizable size, such as a dollar bill, a post it note, Ray, etc. Just a thought.

Size is all relative. Had you made a hundred of these on Halloween and given them away as candy, you would have been pretty popular.

I hope you saved me some. Looking forward to plopping down on your new couch with some melty chocolate and some scissors.

It is pretty funny that they have to give you a pan because no one on earth has a dessert pan that small in their own house!

You have a new couch?! Hooray!

Rich turd, a glass of milk is an object of recognizable size, is it not?

Dearest sister-
I would not call that an insult, I was simply making a suggestion. For all I know that is a sacrament cup with milk in it and a knife and plate from a Barbie play set. Let us oft speak kind words to each other. And thank you for announcing to the world that you used to curl my hair. Now Erica is getting ideas.

posting once a week is NOT enough to be considered an active blogger. pick up the pace! It's not like you have a husband and children.
