I was grateful to be able to watch President Hinckley's funeral yesterday. What a wonderful example! I especially liked Pres. Eyring's comments about how optimistic President Hinckley was, and how this was a direct result of his unwavering faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He would always say, "Things will work out". One of my favorite quotes from Pres. Hinckley is this one: "I am asking that we stop seeking out the storms and problems of life, and enjoy more fully the sunlight." I can definitely improve in this area. I'm afraid I'm a "storm seeker" most of the time, and I really want to change that. I'm going to try to follow his example and be more positive!

I love that quote! Certainly something I can improve on too. Thanks for sharing.

I don't think I've ever heard that quote. I love it - I feel a plaque coming on for me. That's definitely something I need to work on!!

I also love BOTH of those quotes. I use to have the storm quote hanging on the wall, but it got lost. You are not a storm seeker. You FREQUENTLY quell my storms!
