I think a lot about what I need do to be a better mom. I know I have work to do, but sometimes it's hard to know what to do, and even harder to actually do it. What we teach our children, especially by example, is so important. I need to remember that little eyes and ears are taking in what I do and say. Although kids don't come with manuals, we do have guidance and a perfect example to follow. I read an article in this month's Ensign that answered so simply the question, "How can I be a better mom?" Here is the link: LDS.org - Ensign Article - What Mothers Can Learn from the Savior

I wish I was half as good a mom as you are! I am constantly amazed at how wise you are. It is the weirdest thing in the world to have your little child be the mom. You are a wonderful mom and it is an honor to be your mom. I REALLY mean it. Oh dear I'm crying and all the kids that walk by can see me and all the office people. I better get a grip
